- For a game that is supposed to be sport-centric, there does not seem to be many sports for players to actually play.

- Nintendo could have helped rectify this by offering new sports through regular post-launch updates, but there is no sign that these updates are coming outside the Golf update early next year.
This lack of sports has given players little reason to return to the game, and it feels like Nintendo has left the game to gather dust as it focuses on other titles.

The real kicker for which game is better ultimately comes to gameplay, and what each title offers golfers. To begin, EA Sports PGA TOUR 23 features 30 real-life courses, including all Four Majors (This includes Augusta National). In contrast, PGA Tour 2K23 has 49 2K official courses, which, of course, aren’t official real-life courses.
They do, however, have a roster of more than 20 official real-life courses. Nonetheless, EA has the advantage of offering more official courses, including the ability to play the Masters. So, in terms of official courses, EA has the upper hand. Having said that, one deciding factor is that PGA Tour 2K23 includes an extensive course designer.
You can create the most professional or absurd courses imaginable. Furthermore, there is a community playlist where you can try out courses created by others. Providing a fresh and continuously fun way to play the game. The reason this is so big is that EA Sports PGA Tour 23 doesn’t feature a course designer.
As a result, you must play on all official courses. Of course, that’s where the main appeal stems, but if you’ve played previous 2K golf games, you’ll know there’s something special about getting to play with your friends on new and exotic courses. Aside from those primary aspects of gameplay, both games include single-player and ranked online modes.
As well as full-customization private matches. However, PGA Tour 2K23 is upping the ante again by offering up Top Golf mode, as well as cross-platform play. Whereas EA Sports PGA Tour 23 is getting cross-play, at a later date.

How Does Pro League Work – 
After receiving the message about becoming a “Certified Pro,” players will be automatically be put into Pro League mode for that sport. This means that every time players log on to online solo-play, they will be competing at a Pro League status. From there, league play essentially pits the player against another group of players that are the same rank as them. As players get better, they may qualify for higher ranks. With the exception of Rank A, each letter grade has a minus, normal, and plus stage. Rank A is the highest level that players can reach in any sport, and continuing to play will see players come up against the very best players in the world.
Players should be wary though, as league rank will depend on both wins and losses, meaning that a loss could push players back down to a lower ranking. Inactivity will not affect a player’s rank.
